Goal Details and Objectives

Help with Browser Basics


EXPLANATION OF PAGE

The Goal Details and Objectives Page allows access to the page where you may:

  • delete an Objective previously created.
  • review and/or edit the Annual Goal selected and shown at the top of the page
  • review and/or edit the Annual Goal Narrative and Status Narrative
  • review and add/edit Objective information in the Objectives listing on the bottom portion of the page
  • access to Objective Details Page where you may enter/edit selected Objective information
  • access to Add Objective(s) from Lists and Add Custom Objective Page.

  • DETAILED PAGE INSTRUCTIONS

    To view and/or edit information on the Goal Details and Objectives Page,

  • Click on the text field to the right of the title Annual Goal.
  • Edit the text of the Goal as required.
  • NOTE: You may click on the Update the Database Button at any time you have completed entering or editing data.

  • Click on the text field to the right of the title Narrative.
  • Edit the narrative of the Goal as required.
  • Click on the text field to the right of the title Status Narrative.
  • Edit the Status Narrative of the Goal as required.
  • To edit Objective information,

  • Click on the checkbox under the column New Pos and enter the position number of the objective>
  • Click once on the Calendar symbol in the column titled Begin/End Date.
  • Select the correct year by using the << or >> arrows at the top of the calendar.
  • Select the correct month by using the < or > arrows at the top of the calendar.
  • Click on the desired date with the left mouse button.
  • You may also enter the date desired by typing the information in the field.

  • Click on the text field under the title Target %.
  • Enter a number (no percentage symbol) for the target percentage.
  • Click on the down arrow to the right of the text field under the column title Status.
  • Scroll to the desired status statement.
  • Click on the statement to select it.
  • To edit a specific Objective and select Evaluation Procedures and Schedules,

  • Click on the Details Button.
  • You will be taken to the Objective Details Page where the Objective is listed.
  • You may add up to three Evaluation Procedures and Schedules for each Objective.
  • Evaluation Procedures and Schedules are both dropdown lists that hold the procedures and schedules used by your School System.
  • Click once on the arrow to the right of a dropdown box and select the Evaluation Procedure you desire for the Objective.
  • Click once on the arrow to the right of a dropdown box and select the Evaluation Schedule you desire for the Objective.
  • Repeat if required.
  • You may add a new Objective from a List or type in an appropriate Customized Objective.

    To add an Objective from the List of Objectives,

  • Click on the Add Objectives(s) from Lists Button.
  • This will take you to the Add Objectives/Benchmarks Page.
  • To add an Customized Objective,

  • Click on the Add Custom Objectives(s) Button.
  • This will take you to the Add Custom Objectives Page.

  • WARNING

    No information (data) will be entered into the database unless the Update Database Button has been clicked after you have entered your data on the page.
