Users and User Types
Users
Anyone with a log on account and password for EasyIEPTM is a user.  Users may be teachers, school administrators, staff, teacher’s aide, or any person a School System determines requires access to EasyIEPTM.

All users are assigned a user type when their user account is created.  A School System may have as many user types as it requires.  The list below shows the EasyIEPTM default School System user types.
 

  • School System administrator
  • School System staff
  • School Administrator
  • School Staff
  • Teacher
  • System Wide Teacher
  • Teacher's Aide
    • If additional user types are required, PCG, Inc. will create them for the School System.

    User types are important because permission to add, delete, view, and edit EasyIEPTM information are assigned to the user type.  normally a teacher may have permission to view school information, but only an administrator could add or delete a school.  The flexibility offered by assigning permissions for each user type allows a School System to operate as they wish without being forced into a "one-size fits all" solution.
